“Magic Flute Reloaded” at the Volkstheater Rostock


Title: Darlene Ann Dobisch in her star role now at the Volkstheater Rostock

As a dangerous but cool Mafia Boss, Darlene Ann Dobisch will be performing  the role she became famous for at Theater Rostock with stage direction led by Christoph Hagel. Not only will she be singing the arias, but also rapping some of the original Schikaneder texts. A joyous, modern, and unforgettable experience

Due to its completely modern staging, the production will be playing three times specifically for high schools. If a school is interested in booking a performance, they should contact Ticket Services:

New position as a vocal instructor at the Music School Glinde e.V.


Darlene Ann Dobisch will be starting her position as a vocal instructor at the Music School Glinde e.V. on March 1st, 2023, and leading a workshop, together with the school Director, Dieter Teske, from March 24th – 26th, to celebrate the re-opening of the Voice Department.

Breakin’ Mozart is celebrating its 10th anniversary!


It all began with the Mozart Festival in Würzburg which brought together conductor and stage director Christoph Hagel, soprano Darlene Dobisch, and the DDC . After the first rehearsal, everyone already suspected that it could actually work – and it did work, as we know today! And after ten years, the show is rocking on!
